Now I know I swore I wouldn't watch The Bachelorette this season, but the lack of other programming lured me in, and I was easily hooked. The first week drama with Bentley was just too enticing to look away. Little did I know he would only be in 3 episodes, but would become the most infamous bachelor of the season.
Basically, right now I can't stand to watch, but I also can't look away. So as much as it pains be to devote a post to this, I'm going to do it. There are just too many thoughts to share...
1. Ashley puts together some seriously questionable ensembles, and clearly loves to tie up shirts to expose her stomach.
2. If you used the word Bentley as the key word in a drinking game while watching the episodes that he didn't even appear in, you would be seriously drunk. Like scary drunk.
3. I'm not sure how much of a role Ashley plays in creating the dates, but they have really been awful this season. I still can't get over what awful ideas planning a wedding in Vegas and the roast were.
4. Ashley says she had so many regrets from her season of The Bachelor, but has wasted almost her entire season whining about Bentley. I can only imagine she's kicking herself constantly while watching herself this season. I really didn't think she'd let her insecurities mess it all up again.
5. I am constantly getting Ben F. and Constantine confused. Don't they look like twins?
6. JP is the only bachelor that I'm rooting for at this point. Technically, I don't even think I really want him to win because the thought of him being stuck with Ashley is just too disappointing. He's a serious cutie though, I kind of love him.

After seeing the previews for the rest of the season, it looks like Ashley's crying and pouting is far from over. I hate to watch, but you and I both know that I will.

i keep watching too! and don't know why for the life of me! she is so dumb! ben and i were saying we can't wait for "after the final rose" to see how dumb she feels abt the whole bently thing!
of course I am watching this show...ahhhh, it's a major trainwreck. I love J.P., he's very, very cute. I don't think she is going to end up with him, and at this point I am not really sure who she will end up with. She's a mess, I would be so embarassed if I did the show and behaved like that. I am sure Bentley is getting a good chuckle out of the whole thing. The rose ceremony at the end looks brutal...I can't wait!! :)
Couldn't agree with you more! It's like a bad accident... you should look, but you just can't help it! Why do I keep watching week after week?
I'm feeling just like you, I don't want to watch, but yet can't help myself. I like JP the best too, but don't think he is right for Ashley and her whiny regretful ways... I hope she doesn't end up with anyone, since none of them seem right for her. Maybe she'll find love from those bachelor/bachelorette parties they like to throw at the end of the seasons...
Loving this post! We are on the same page about everything. Ashley's outfits annoy me, she is always trying to show off her stomach or boobs and she walks like something is stuck up her ass. I said the same thing last night about Ben and Constaine, they are twins! and I love JP, buit agree he could do better than whiney Ashley. I will say her hair looks much better this time around.
love this post. I caught myself saying yes yes yes! She is driving me insane. I love how she said "if you're watching this Bentley F you." Um honey... you're the one that he's laughing at now. Drunk? YES. I should have played that game. I would have been belligerent.
I hated her so much on the Bachelor that I have not been watching this season. I'll probably catch an episode or two at the end just to watch the train wreck end.
oh man...i vowed to myself that i wouldn't watch this season. she drove me NUTS on the bachelor and i didn't think i could handle another whole season of it!!! but i'd be lying if i said i wasn't curious :)
Ironically, I am just now sitting down to watch this week's BENTLEY-fest... and I could NOT agree more with everything you said. In fact, this is the first season EVER that I DVR it and have to remind myself to watch. I was actually an Ashley fan when she was on the Bachelor, but NOW... good grief, girl wears me out!
And, I'm with you on JP-- a little birdie told me he may be the "one" after all. I am sure they will last forever and ever. Ha!
I stopped watching The Batch (blame my mom for the abbreviation) last summer during Ali's lame season. My mom watched the season after that, but then she told me she quit. A couple of weeks ago, I get a text from her that says, "Do you like the name Ames?" A couple minutes later she texts again, "Okay, you caught me. I'm watching The Batch again, but there is nothing else on!!!" Oh, reality TV, how you suck us in with your drama.
